It's the voice of the people. When Universal Studios tried to reboot the shared monster world in the form of the Dark Universe, they avoided the idea of another cinematic universe. I supported this idea as much as I could because I thought it was important for people to rediscover the movies, but Universal went about it in the completely wrong way.
