Redmi Watch 2 Pricing information leaked ahead of China launch

It seems that Redmi is preparing for a new portable phone. GizmoChina staff have spotted the Redmi Watch 2 at Chinese retailer JD.com. According to the announcement, the wearable device will cost CNY 399, which directly equates to around Rs 4,700. It is not yet known if and when the watch will be available in India. The report notes that the new Redmi Watch 2 will have a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. By comparison, the current generation Redmi Watch has a slightly smaller 1.4-inch screen with an LCD panel. The AMOLED display in the new watch should allow for features such as an always-on screen as well as increased battery life.
